  4. What is your target audience?
  5. Have you looked at other sites to get some ideas of what you like and don't like?
  6. Do you have a business license yet and are you incorporated or a sole proprietor?
  7. What type of budget do you have in mind?
  8. Will you do business strictly over the internet or do you also have a store front?
  9. Do you currently have a merchant account set up with a bank?
  10. Will you require ongoing maintenance of your site once it is set up?
  11. What time frame are you looking at?
  12. Do you already have a logo, graphics, photos and content prepared? Digital or paper?
  13. Do you already have some ideas that you'd like to see the site built on?
  14. Would you like to attach your site to a database?
  15. Will you require e-mail boxes for your site? If so, how many?
  16. Do you want animation and/or sound added to your site?
  17. Are you doing business in the US only or internationally?
  18. Will this be an intranet (in house), extranet (business to business) or internet site as far as access?
  19. How will you be paying for this?
  20. Have you considered a formal marketing launch to launch your site when it is completed?
  21. Will you need your web site hosted?
  22. Will you want to have your web site updated, maintained or managed? If so, how often to you expect the content to be updated?
